Hi, I’m Annie
With 30 + years of professional experience in both the Corporate and in the SME (small, medium enterprise) worlds, my background is primarily in Consulting, Coaching and Client Service. I have worked with organisations such as Selfridges, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, the London Stock Exchange, City of London Corporation and The Crown Estate as well as a number of central government bodies including the Cabinet Office, BEIS and the Department for Education. I have helped them navigate and transform to adapt to the modern world, taking advantage of emerging technologies whilst responding to changing consumer demands.
As both a Senior Executive and a Non-Executive Director, I have been responsible for growing significant areas of business, delivering high quality solutions and ensuring client/customer satisfaction whilst leading large teams of people.
My approach has always been a collaborative people-centric one. My leadership style has always been inclusive and fundamentally coaching in nature. I have always prioritised the development and coaching of colleagues, both client and internal colleagues, no matter what level/no matter reporting lines.
In 2014, I was introduced to Gallup Strengths and quickly realised the benefits this could have to individuals, to teams and to organisations more broadly. In 2017 I became a certified Gallup Strengths coach and I have been practising ever since. Individualisation, Strategic, Achiever, Maximiser and Arranger are my top 5 strengths.
In 2024, I decided to take the plunge, set up Be PurposeFul® and dedicate my time to coaching and mentoring others.
Outside of work …
As a wife, a mother and a daughter to elderly parents, I am prioritising and re-prioritising every single day. I successfully navigated the return to the Corporate world after each of my 3 maternity leaves. I have been working flexibly (both formally and informally) for over 20 years and have secured multiple promotions and moved organisations whilst doing so.
I live with my family in South West London and at the weekends I can often be found playing tennis or at the side of our local football pitch, supporting one of my goalkeeper sons.
I love exploring the world and learning about different cultures, back-packing on trains and hiking to fascinating and challenging places.
